POLEMA JSC, a member company of the KOKS Group, has successfully lauched its manufacture of a new product: crucibles with an outer diameter of 350 mm and a height of 495 mm.
Thanks to their resistance to certain molten metals and metal oxides, tungsten crucibles have become widely used in technologies for growing monocrystals from molten corund. For POLEMA JSC, developing the manufacture of products made from high-melting-point metals for the hot zones of sapphire crystal-growing units has become a high-priority business line. The company is expanding its partnership in this sphere with both domestic and foreign companies and is constantly monitoring the market demand for these «sapphires.» Responding flexibly to consumer demands, POLEMA JSC is expanding its selection and increasing its production volume for the crucibles.
Amidst preparations for new product launches, the company has reequipped its fleet of furnace and metal-cutting equipment. This has made it possible to increase the production volume of wolfram crucibles by more than three times.
In addition, it is planned in 2012 to acquire a new hydrostatic press with augmented performance for the production of crucibles with a diameter of up to 500 mm.
