Audit was passed successfully

Independent certification center – TUF International RUS, JSC had carried out re-certification audit of POLEMA JSC’ Quality Management System during the period of 30.05. – 1.06. Initial certification was passed in 2005, three years later Polema successfully passed re-certification procedure.

Conformance certificate ISO 9001:2008 verifies that the enterprise applies Quality Management System for the manufacturing of electrolytic chromium, electrolytic refined chromium, products made of electrolytic refined chromium, metal powders, sintered and deformed refractory metals.

Re-certification audit was passed successfully. It proves that Polema keeps to its quality management principles as bases for future capacity extension, customers’ confidence, attraction of new customers, conditioning of products and their competitive recovery.

The main directions and principles of POLEMA’ s policy in the sphere of quality are as follows:

to take the leading positions in the production of electrolytic chromium, electrolytic refined chromium and chromium products, refractory metal products and metal powders;
to uphold the reputation of reliable supplier of high quality products at home and foreign markets.
to develop new products, improve existing and introduce perspective technological processes;
to observe legislative standards and rules, introduce secure working conditions, follow the requirements of environmental safety;
to provide stable financial and economic status of enterprise, improve economic welfare of joint-stock company and every employee.

Quality Management System is guided by the first deputy director of POLEMA JSC’ chief executive officer – Valery Davydov.

He undertakes responsibility for upholding of Quality Management System in operating status and for constant improvement of its productivity.
