Molybdenum powder

Application:
- plasma spraying of a sublayer for working wear-resistant coatings in heavy-loaded friction bearings (for example, rolling mill bearings), pump and pumping equipment components, in fuel injectors of internal-combustion engines, in piston rings, cams, rings in transmission synchronizers, for shaft seals, etc. The coatings are characterized by high resistance to wear and anti-friction properties under heavy loads, and by resistance to abrasion and erosion in an oxidizing atmosphere (in open air) in temperatures of up to 3400С. The coatings have hardness measures of approximately 25 ÷ 34 HRC;
- doping of molybdenum-containing flux cored electrodes and welding electrodes;
- making sintered permeable products using powered metallurgy methods.
