POLEMA showed powders for additive manufacturing at the international exhibition Formnext 2018
The powder metallurgy plant “POLEMA” (affiliated to IMH) took part in a major international exhibition-conference on additive manufacturing Formnext 2018 (Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 13-16 November 2018).
This year POLEMA has introduced a unique product at its exhibition booth – spherical metal powders for 3D printing, MIM technologies, hard-facing and sputtering with enhanced purity, grain-size composition and flow rate characteristics as well as samples of items manufactured with the help of 3D printing from its own produced powders.
POLEMA factory mastered the production of spherical powders in 2018 under the scope of the project “Production of high-alloyed metal powders for hard-facing, sputtering and additive technologies». POLEMA is able to manufacture spherical iron-, nickel-, cobalt-, molybdenum- and tungsten-based powders. The plant is an exclusive manufacturer of this product in Russia.
The unique exposition attracted a great attention from the visitors of Formnext 2018 exhibition.
